    Hi there,
I have transferred money from my NAB savings account to another individuals NAB account on a public holiday and it still has not cleared?
Because the money was transferred to another individuals account (but still with NAB) will the transfer/ clearing time be the same as transferring money to a completely different bank?
    Kind regards

  6. Chandan says:

How long does it take for a payment, from one persons nab account to another persons nab account to clear?

    • NAB says:

      Hi Chandan,

Generally speaking, a funds transfer from a NAB account to a non-linked (or 3rd party) NAB account can take 24 to 48 hours to be cleared through, depending on whether it is a first time transfer or not.

First time single transfers will be delayed by a minimum of 24 hours. Transfer processing times are also dependent on when the transfer was submitted and whether it is a part of a multiple transfer (as would be the case with an

employer paying wages for example); you might find the following useful ^SN

    • NAB says:

      HI Cristina,

Generally speaking, a funds transfer from a NAB account to a non-linked (or 3rd party) NAB account can take 24 to 48 business hours to clear through, depending on whether it is a first time transfer or not.

First time single transfers will be delayed by a minimum of 24 hours.

Should you find that the funds have not cleared into the other person’s account after the 48 hours, please check the account details you’ve input in the transfer and if they’re correct, you could raise a dispute on the funds transfer.

Here is how you can raise a dispute via your Internet Banking.

      Alternatively, you can call us on 13 22 65 8am-7pm Mon-Fri and 9am-6pm Sat-Sun AEDT/AEST ^SN

I need to transfer funds to another persons account. Their account is with a credit union and the account number includes a dot.

I can’t get the online transfer to work as it won’t accept anything other than numbers. How do I transfer these funds

    • NAB says:

      Hi Clare,

      This doesn’t sound right.

    Hi there,

I transferred $300 from my nab account to Westpac account on the 8/10/14 also another $200 on the 9/10/14. The money still has not been received. I actually know for a fact that I typed the correct details. Is the four business days the normal time it takes to transfer money from one account to another?

    Please help!
